Supply Chain Logistics Consulting. “A Brief History.”

A concept for Supply Chain Management consulting began to be formed. The internet url of supplychainlogistics.co was first used in 2017 to identify the area where businesses needed support and we could deliver it.

Ideas for a commercial business began to take shape. The draft for Supply Chain Logistics Consulting went through many initial iterations and more than a few names. The first use of the favicon in black and white appeared at this time.

Originally incorporated as a numbered company to offer contract consulting, the potential for business growth languished in this entity founded in Calgary, Alberta. 

Expansion from province to province in western Canada as an extra-provincially registered entity within both British Columbia and Alberta in the Northwest Trade Partnership Agreement (NWTPA).

Almost overnight the world adapted business into new models for communications and interactions. Supply chain vulnerabilities and new restrictions placed work from home at the forefront for digital services like consulting and advising.

Undergoing a major pivot, the concept of ecommerce style consulting was revitalized and found new footing. Soon the digital offer was online with improved communications technologies and information services that could deliver management consulting services from anywhere.

The launch of a website complimented the company’s vision to help businesses with supply chain management and business development. The first of many big steps to amplifying knowledge and expertise to support owners of SME’s, entrepreneurs, and startup companies while they grow their capability through continuous improvements.

Supply Chain Logistics Consulting became officially S&Co., Supply Chain Logistics Consulting Inc. in the Canadian national registration accepted December 2022.
